What the roof survey covers
Where applicable, the survey considers roof coverings; ridges and hips; valleys; verges; flashings; chimney interfaces; rooflights; relevant rainwater goods; and the accessible roof structure and roof void.
Visible rafters, purlins, trusses and wall plates are assessed where accessible, together with ventilation, moisture-related defects, water ingress, deterioration, movement and previous repairs.
